Join the Art Exchange for an evening of short films by artists and filmmakers from the Middle East. Together you will delve into the entangled relationship between culture, globalised societies, migration and colonial legacy.
They will screen the work of artists and filmmakers Ahaad Alamoudi, Adham Faramawy, Zein Majali, Farah Al Qasimi and Larissa Sansour. Zein Majali will talk about her work, and Larissa Sansour’s ‘Familiar Phantoms’ will be followed by a Q&A with Professor Shohini Chaudhuri, Film Studies, University of Essex.
Come along to Cine 10 and enjoy an evening of film, debate – and refreshments including a bowl of Dan’s dahl!
